Slideshow: Borneo Diving in Sipadan – Semporna Archipelago

Underwater photos from my SCUBA diving experience in amazing Sipadan, within the Semporna Archipelago (in Borneo / Malaysia), the best diving I’ve ever done. I’ve posted assorted images from my first time using the underwater camera when diving. Photos from my Borneo diving adventure in the Semporna Archipelago are below (Press SL for Slideshow, FS for Full Screen):

  1. Hi there! Just came across your blog which I realise is a few years old! I will be going to Semporna for a few days diving in June. I have an advance certificate and I guess know about 12-15 dives. However I am not super confident with diving and would like to go with a good club with good material and who know what they are doing so I can be more relaxed in the water.
Have never seen a shark and its my worse nightmare yet my biggest desire…. as a diver I am sure you know what I mean 🙂

    Any recomendations are welcome!

    1. I loved Semporna – best diving I’ve ever done! I had less experience than you did when I went to Semporna Archipelago – and loved it!
The guides were so helpful – I was with a dive company on the island of Mabul for the week. You’re going to be great!

  2. Hi, Nice pix and trips!
I would like to ask you a question.
I am going to Sipadan for a week (diving…)
I would like to know , how is the after diving / nightlife there?
I will stay on Mabul island.
    Any bars to be recommended?

    Thank you for your reply.

    Serge
